This course will highlight the use of Aurical HIT and PMM in the process of completing real ear to coupler difference (RECD) measurements and fitting. Integrated verification with the Aurical HIT will also be demonstrated with the Auical HIT will also be demonstrated. Additionally, clinical applications for analysis of advanced hearing aid features will be reviewed and demonstrated that were not completed in Aurical HIT Applications: Part 1.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this e Seminar, participants will :
– be able to describe the benefits and when to incorporate coupler-based fitting with a hearing instrument test box in the fitting clinic.
– be able to list the steps to complete RECD measurements and the steps to apply the RECD measurements to the fitting process of hearing instruments using Aurical HIT.
– be able to describe the use of hearing aid transition and frequency lowering with the Aurical HIT.

Jeanette Fitzke, Au.D., is the field clinical specialist for Natus Medical Incorporated covering the Southwest United States and is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Jeanette has over 17 years of clinical experience focusing on vestibular evaluation, electrophysiology and hearing aid selection, fitting, and verification. She is currently a member of the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association and holds her Clinical Certificate of Competency in Audiology.
