This course provides an introduction to OAEs, including the anatomy and clinical considerations of recording OAEs and will provide specific examples of TEOAE and DPOAE recording using the Capella2. The presentation will finish with discussion topics and information for further reading about clinical applications of OAEs.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this seminar the participants will be able to:
• name the anatomical origins of the OAE
• list the important steps to consider when recording OAEs
• record an OAE using Capella2 and Otosuite
