Course introduction: All ears are unique and so should their fitting be. But more complex cases often benefit from enhanced verification beyond a routine REM.
Using Aurical and Otosuite integration, this workshop takes a comprehensive look at how effectively and efficiently verification can be achieved without impacting your routine fittings.
The training agenda will include:
- Frequency Lowering – To do or not to do, that is the question!
- Speech Mapping – Navigating the fitting for optimum outcomes.
- CROS Verification – Optimum set-up with Aurical Freefit.
- Freestyle Options & Users Tests
- Otosuite Reports
Learning Objectives: (use measurable term, avoid words like know or understands)
Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:
- Asses patient candidacy and set the appropriate strength of Frequency Lowering using the Aurical system.
- Perform REMs on CROS and BiCROS hearing aids.
- Use speech mapping to improve your counselling and fine tuning of hearing aid fittings.
