All About Fitting with Aurical and Otoscan

Welcome to our course, All About Fitting! Hearing care professionals with all experience levels are welcome to attend! Previous experience with Aurical or Otoscan is not required. Attend this two-day course to learn new skills (or refresh existing knowledge) with all aspects of verification. A combination of lecture and hands-on guided practice gives participants confidence with every facet of verification, including RECD and coupler-based fitting. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of 3D ear scanning, including access to a marketing tool kit offering multiple opportunities to differentiate and promote your practice.

Learner Objectives:
After attending this course, participants will

• Describe the value of real-ear verification for every hearing aid fitting
• Describe and demonstrate the step-by-step process to complete verification
• Discuss when and how to verify advanced features
• Measure RECDs and demonstrate steps to perform coupler-based fitting
• Explain how and when to use integrated verification
• Describe the benefits of 3D ear scanning including hands-on practice with Otoscan
